About Founding Attorney Josh Nielsen

Josh Nielsen was raised in Henderson County, North Carolina, and attended the University of North Carolina Wilmington for his undergraduate degree where he majored in history and English and graduated magna cum laude with university and departmental honors.

Josh attended law school at Elon University, afterward returning to the Asheville area where he founded Nielsen Legal and presently resides.

Josh has focused his practice in Western North Carolina and is firmly committed to helping his local communities through zealous legal representation. He is certified as a board specialist in criminal law by the North Carolina State Bar.

In his free time, Josh enjoys outdoor activities including riding his motorcycles, skiing and snowboarding, golf and travel.
