Jerad is a native of Albany, Georgia and has been practicing in Western North Carolina since 2010.  His practice has focused on all areas of civil litigation including personal injury, construction law, contract law, collections, and foreclosures.  However, practicing in the small town of Waynesville, North Carolina has allowed him to represent clients in many areas of the law including criminal defense, trusts, estates, guardianships, and bankruptcy.  Jerad has represented international corporations, national banking institutions, and local Haywood County business owners.  Jerad is a student of the law first and foremost, and prides himself on his ability to understand even the most complex legal issues.
During his time at the University of Georgia School of Law, Jerad participated in the Criminal Defense Clinic and was also certified as a mediator with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution. Additionally, he served as a researcher under Professor Jason Solomon exploring trends between tort reform, medical malpractice claims and insurance premiums. 
Jerad spends his free time playing bluegrass guitar, playing golf, and hiking with his dog Addie.
